Welcome to Bhutan – The Land of Thunder Dragon

Bhutan, a purely Buddhist Himalayan Kingdom is surpassed in its scenic majesty and vibrant culture. The Kingdom shares with Nepal the world’s greatest concert ration of mountains and living heritage of Buddhism. Bhutan is one of the few countries in the world still untouched, a paradise of tourist interest of Buddhist culture and philosophy, flora & fauna, trekking and mountaineering.

Phuentsholing aptly called the gateway of Bhutan. As visitors leave India, they are welcome by a high and beautifully decorated gate, which leads to small and modern town of Bhutan.

Thimpu is the wide new Capital of Bhutan is on the banks of the river Wang-Chu. The scenery of hills from here is really enchanting.

Paro with its wide open valley filled with traditional farmhouse, roofed with shingles and slate and rice paddies, holds a lot of interesting sites to visit like the picturesque ruin of Drugyel Dzong built in 1647, From here the peak of Mt. Chomolhari (23,997 ft.) may be clearly seen.
